Dental Implants

Implant dentistry is the most advanced therapy available to replace missing teeth. Dental implant restorations generally look, feel and act like natural teeth.

Dental implants may offer you important advantages compared to other treatment options: improved good health and enhanced appearance, which may lead to greater self confidence and a better quality of life. Ask your dentist today if you are a candidate for dental implants.

Teeth Whitening
Our state-of-the-art, in-office ZOOM! bleaching system will make your teeth whiter in less than 1.5 hours. We also offer a home bleaching system that show results in 2 weeks. You can also consider a combination program of both systems for optimal, long-term results.
Dentures
Complete dentures are used to replace teeth when there are no teeth remaining. The teeth are prefabricated acrylic which come in many sizes, shapes, and shades. They are processed into a custom made acrylic base which is made to intimately and comfortably fit the gum tissue in your mouth.
Root Canal
A root canal, or endodontic therapy is needed to treat the tissue inside the tooth. This tissue is called the pulp, often referred to as the nerve. The pulp can become irreversibly damaged due to infection or trauma. The infection of the pulp typically results from deep decay, which is caused by bacteria. Left untreated the pulp will eventually die. This is called a necrotic pulp. This infection and necrotic tissue can work its way into the jawbone forming an abscess, a serious and sometimes painful infection.
Tooth Colored Fillings
Tooth colored fillings are also referred to as composites, because they are composed of a complex composite of plastic and zirconia/silica.
Crowns/Bridges
A crown (some people call it a "cap") is used to restore a tooth that would otherwise be in danger of breaking. It covers and protects the entire tooth. A dental bridge is used when there is a tooth missing. It usually involves putting a crown on each tooth on either side of the missing tooth, and then a false tooth or teeth is suspended between the crowns.
Extraction
If a tooth has been damaged by decay or a fracture, your dentist will try to repair it and restore it with a filling, crown or other treatment. Sometimes, though, the damage is too extensive for the tooth to be repaired. This is the most common reason for extracting a tooth.
Deep Cleaning
If plaque and tartar is left on the teeth, as we mentioned before, it provides the right conditions for bacteria to thrive. The bacteria irritate the gums, which means that they bleed more easily. You may notice this if you are brushing your teeth, or eating, and sometimes your gums may bleed a bit. This is the early stage of gum disease called gingivitis. If you have gingivitis, your dentist or hygienist will clean your teeth by scaling and polishing them. They may also recommend an antiseptic mouthwash containing chlorhexidine, and show you how to brush and floss your teeth effectively. Most adults have some degree of gum disease.
